Oh Boy!

This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions and thinking. I've had sometime to myself to evaluate priorities, friendships and just life in general. I've come to the conclusion that I want to be a better friend. I don't leave my friends in the dust like I did when I was in a high school relationship, I do hangout with them and see them but I need to be better at getting people together and just hanging out in general. I'm the kind of person who if I don't talk to you on a regular basis I kind of let it fall by the way side. :( I want to start to work on that. And a quick update on my spending for the month: I haven't spend a dime on stuff that I don't need want and I've put the extra money towards my bills! I'm so excited for my monthly update on my loans to see how things are progressing. :D

Here are the 11 random facts about me:

1. I grew up as the youngest of 6 kids. Of the 6 only 1 is my real brother but they've all been family since before I can remember. 
2. I've always wanted to be a singer.
3. I have horrible stage fright.
4. I would love to live on a island for a little bit.
5. I love living in Michigan and I really do enjoy the crazy weather it brings. 
6. I enjoy/appreciate the little things in life like notes, the first hint of green of spring, the sound of an owl outside my window ect.
7. I never want another tattoo that doesn't hold personal meaning.
8. I work with my best friend and our cubes are next to each other. It's pretty awesome!
9. I have always looked up to two of my older brothers, even though they don't know that. 
10. The orange skittle is my favorite.
11. My hair is currently the longest it's ever been in my life and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. 

Now to answer Alexis' questions:

1. If you could have any super power, what would it be and why? I would talk to animals. I love animals and I've always been curious what my dogs would say. They have their own personalities and I think it would be funny.

2. Favorite movie?  My family was weird. We didn't really watch Disney movies when I was a kid. We watched action and horror flicks mostly and because of that Jaws is my all time favorite movie. I can watch it any day of the week. 

3. What do you think about breakfast for dinner?  Yum! It's always a great choice! I love having breakfast for dinner. It's my favorite meal of the day!

4. If you could meet any three people, dead or alive, who would it be and why? Well you didn't list fictional or not so it would be Harry Potter because he's a freaking bad ass wizard. Bob Marley, because he is my favorite musician and it would be interesting to have a chat with him. And either Nelson Mandela or Abraham Lincoln because they are both amazing historical figures that have changed the course of history through their acts of greater good. 

5. Do you believe in soul mates? I'm still pondering that one. I think there are a few people out there you could fit really well with and live a happy life with but your soul mate is that person that brings you to life. 

6. If you could cast anyone, which actress would play you in a movie about your life? Oh goodness.  It would have to be everyone's favorite J.Law. Probably because she wouldn't have to change much about herself to play my part. 

7. What's your favorite guilty pleasure?  Laying in my bed until the afternoon on a weekend. It's my favorite to snuggle with my teddy bear boyfriend and get out of bed late.

8. What's your biggest pet peeve? CHOMPING! I absolutely hate when people chomping on their gum or their food. It drives me insane and I just keep imagining myself slapping hugging them so hard their food falls out of their mouth. 

9. Would you change anything about yourself if you could? What and why? I would change my horrible habit of procrastinating. I really hate it. Especially when I work for a magazine and I live by deadlines. I would also change my inability to be on time. It pisses off annoys my friends but seriously I don't do it on purpose. I always think I have more time but I don't. I know it only says one but they tie in together. 

10. Who is your biggest role model?  I didn't realize it until I got older but it's my mom. I always wanted to be a daddy's girl and had hope but the older I get the more I realize how important my mother is to me. She is the most caring women and has the oddest way of showing it. 

11. Glitter or no glitter? Uh, is this a real question? GLITTER!!! For sure.
