Dark Angels

I recently discovered how to describe my skin type: combination skin. It basically means that my skin is a pain in the ass because one spot could be really dry and peeling while another spot could be so oily you could replace your WD-40. While I was fumbling around on Pinterest the other day I noticed some people swearing by this face wash.

I spent less than $13 on this face wash which is another great perk to it. I know the Aveda stuff is a bit more pricey, even though it has already gone pretty far in use. You can pick it up at your local Lush store or if you don't live near one you can order it online too. 

I looked up the reviews on the website and honestly I saw only 1 bad review and it wasn't because the product didn't work. With the face wash being so dark and the ingredients that it is made of, it can sometimes leave residual traces behind. Other reviews stated that if you use a toner or just rinse your face off better it comes right off. 

This is going to be my next challenge. I'm really looking forward to giving this stuff a try because it is a lot like the Aveda foam face wash I recently did a review on. It is all natural products and it isn't tested on animals. Like I said, not a single bad review! How can that be?! With every product I have ever researched no matter how excellent it is there are always haters. So, unless they have people at their corporate headquarters constantly pumping out awesome reviews, I'm going to trust them and give it a shot. I'll let you know if my skin thanks me next week! :) Here goes nothing.

P.S. Even though I'm not a fan of Valentine's Day I still want to wish everyone else out there a Happy Valentine's Day and to take the time to remember/appreciate their loved ones today. We often forget and overlook those we love in the hustle and bustle to today's rushed times.
