Today, I officially signed up for the Color Run! It will be my second time running in the race and I can't wait to do it again! I've run in other 5ks before and I have to say none are as much fun as running through paint. The best part comes at the end when everyone around you is gross, colorful (starting to turn brown, haha) and so happy that just finished the race.
Last year I was lucky enough to run the race alongside my best friend and we had a blast. Every time we went through a different color we would try to get as much as we could. The worst was when we went through the blue we were so excited that we were smiling. Terrible, terrible idea, considering it got in our mouths. Word to the wise it tastes awful, so do NOT open your mouth when going through the color check points.
I can't wait to do the race again with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend. Though I love the shirts and I wear mine all the time, I kind of hope they choose a different color this year because the outline of my sports bra due to sweat was not cool. I must also add that I just finally and recently cleaned off my sunglasses that I wore during the color run last year. Yes, I know, took me long enough to do it but I got it done. Can't wait!
