Last night my mom and I decided to go to Bath and Body Works to pick up somethings from their sale. They had a huge selection of soaps, sprays, lotions - well you know the bath and body works collection. I had a brilliant idea to go and buy a bunch of stuff for my Lia Sophia parties. I know, I know, I'm spending more money, but you know what they say, "you gotta spend money to make money." And I really want my business to be successful.
My idea, which I got from my adviser, was to go raffle tickets. What she does is whenever she says "Lia Sophia" the first person to respond with "Gotta Have it" would get another raffle ticket. Also, there were other ways to get the tickets like showing up on time, wearing a solid color shirt, bringing a friend and wearing Lia Sophia jewelry to the party. At the end she put all the tickets in a bowl and drew one out and the winner got a free piece of jewelry.
Since I'm new I don't have any free jewelry to give away. I can't give away the little bit that I do have! So I stocked up on the great deals from Bath and Body Works and I'm going to have a bag they can grab whatever they want from it. There's a huge variation too. Everything from body wash, hand soaps, hand sanitizers, and well lotions but there are so many different scents there's going to be something for everyone (I hope).
I am hoping this is a great little giveaway and that it works out well with the ladies at the parties. I can't give away something to everyone but it's another reason to be at the parties to make sure you get those tickets! Once I get some extra jewelry I can give away I will start to do that but I'm sure I will also continue to use the extras from Bath and Body Works.
My other brilliant idea was these little coupons I found online. Some other Advisor had made them up so I replaced her information and what she was doing with what I wanted to do and printed them off. I will be scattering them around the office as an extra incentive to book a party with me :) clever I know.
