Oh, That's a Bummer!

Remember that awesome plan I had? Foolproof right? I actually had a plan for once and it was legit because I put it in a spreadsheet. Well my friends, life happened yet again.

For one thing, I pretty much thought I was done with paying for stuff for the upcoming wedding aside for hair and nails. I was just going to do my own makeup and considering I had a gift card to Sephora and I would treat myself to the Naked2 pallet, since every girl should own it anyways. I planned on spending around $50 total to get my hair done and around $35-40ish for my nails. Thursday, I went to Sephora, where this nice lady asked me all these questions about my makeup; what I had, what I use, what I plan to look like, what kind of brush, do I prefer liquid or powder. I have no freaking clue. So, she walked me through the process of truly being a girl, tried out a few different types of makeup and the next thing I knew I was walking out with $160 worth of product! My makeup looked awesome for the wedding by the way. And yes, I'm returning everything I bought. I know, I know. I'm a horrible person but honestly I just can't afford it.

My hair cost me around $100 and since I wasn't expecting that, but I knew I had the money on my card I put it on my debt, but it came up declined. I later came to find out that the hotel ran my credit card that day and I didn't have enough to pay for both my hair and the hotel, so it had to go on my credit card. Thankfully, my boyfriend (to make up for him pretty much ruining the night) paid for the hotel, breakfast the next morning and dinner that night.

I already paid off what I spent on my hair and I plan to take back anything I purchased within the last week, pending I don't need it for my survival or I didn't eat it. Since I had to dip into my spare change savings I don't have much to get me through the week, until I take back everything and I had to fill up the ol' gas tank yesterday.

To top off my money problems, my student loan payments, for two of my loans, decided to go up well over $100 each. I have them set with income based payments, I'm not sure if they didn't review my information in time or what but they are about to be yelled at get a nice earful since I can't afford an additional $250 payment on top of the rest of my loans. Not happening. But just in case, I applied to a job at Target today as a cashier. Now there is certainly nothing wrong with working a second job and in this case, I desperately need the money. I'm never going to save up money, since clearly there is no raise in my future, no matter how hard I work at my company (thank you magazines for bleeding money) and I can't find a second job or anything else.

On the plus side, before my wonderful boyfriend started throwing up at the wedding, it was a great time. The bride looked beautiful, the groom almost passed out because he was holding his breath so hard trying not to cry when she walked down the isle and we had blast taking pictures and getting ready. Everyone looked great. But now, I'm lost with out my workout buddy since she is on her honeymoon for two weeks!
