Remember how I said no life altering events? That was kind of a lie...sort of. I got a new job!! It's life altering because I'm finally getting started down the field that I want to be in for my career, which is advertising and I'm really excited to learn as much as I can.
There were a few other things that went down recently that had the potential to really shake somethings up in my life. I had a job offer from a company in Texas that I work with through my job now. I love the company, they offered me a good enough chunk of change to get me to move and it would also be somewhat in the career field I wanted (marketing instead of advertising). With that offer I talked to my boss and he offered a raise. All at the same time I had an interview last week Monday for a company I've really wanted to work for, for awhile now and I got it!
To recap, I had a job offer from Texas, a raise Monday morning and another job offer Monday afternoon. I had to call back my boss after he worked to get me a raise and tell him thanks, but no thanks. I felt like mega-douche.
At the end of the day I chose to go with the new job. I'm really excited and I just can't hide it! (too much, nah). Also, I paid off one of my credit cards...because I could and now I'm gonna dance.
